A wedding is so much more than an event. It's the union of a new family...the beginning of a new adventure. I feel privileged to capture all the love, joy, celebration, anticipation, and intimacy between couples and their loved ones - it's an honor to be a part of such a meaningful day.

I believe in photographing the day as it unfolds, naturally. Through unobtrusively capturing each moment - big and small - the spirit of the day can be experienced over and over by generations to come...everything from the anticipation in that final hairpin, to the thrill of the first dance.

I was born in Colorado and earned my B.A. from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. After graduation I moved to Los Angeles, where I studied at the Julia Dean School, and apprenticed under fashion photographer Kim Grisco. While in L.A. I was also commissioned to take the official press photographs for International men's figure skating champion Braden Overett.

After spending a few years interning in fashion and working for a small boutique studio, I knew I wanted to make weddings my focus, and that I wanted to do it in New York. Upon relocating I continued my education at the International Center of Photography and School of Visual Arts. I've been fortunate that my job has taken me all over the United States, as well as Europe. My work has appeared on the Knot, Real Bride, The Wedding Channel, Say Yes to the Dress, as well as in The New York Times.
